A Fashion and Beauty Retail Manager is a professional that controls the day-to-day operations of a retail store that offers fashion and beauty items. They might be employed at department stores, boutiques, or specialized stores. They oversee the store’s workers, hire and train new employees, and ensure that sales targets are met. They create and execute sales tactics, promotions, and merchandising plans in order to increase traffic and revenue. They keep an eye on inventory levels, order new items, and keep the store well-stocked and tidy. They may also be in charge of customer service, cash and credit transactions, and shop budgeting and finances.

They must have excellent leadership and communication abilities, as well as a thorough understanding of fashion and beauty trends and products. They must also be financially savvy and capable of analyzing sales data in order to make strategic judgments. They may collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate advantageous terms and price. They must follow all industry norms and safety requirements, as well as keep the store clean, orderly, and safe for consumers and staff.

Job Summary

  • Involve your team in qualitative goals and theme animation.
  • Via Floor Management, you will lead your reports to establish a good and engaging work environment while ensuring all objectives for the corresponding categories are met.
  • Lead the supervisors in creating a pleasant and interesting customer experience while meeting objectives.
  • Develop solid relationships with VIP clientele.
  • Ensure that your team follows up on stock and merchandising needs, communicating with the Operations team to ensure that targets are fulfilled and that the client experience meets expectations.
  • Assure that your team will communicate with the Quality Lead to verify that VM requirements are fulfilled.
  • In partnership with the training and HR departments, you will identify, promote, and develop your team’s abilities based on their career path, as well as follow up on their training plan.
  • Coach and follow up on your team on a monthly basis, designating time for one-on-one meetings with each of them to review performances, areas for growth, and action plans.

Requirements

  • Experience: a minimum of 7 years experience as a Store Manager for luxury retail, managing a big and diverse team (+15 people).
  • Education: University Degree Preferable
  • Languages: English is compulsory. Arabic is a plus.
  • Excel Proficiency is a must.
