Logistics (Drivers) must drive and operate a wide range of general and specialist vehicles, including Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV, which include cars, minibuses, and coaches), rigid and articulated Large Goods Vehicles (LGV), and mobile cranes; you will also refuel aircraft using tankers, clear runways using specialist de-icing vehicles, and move specialist freight with complex trailers. It will be your job to ensure that RAF people, equipment, and vehicles arrive at the correct location and time in order to fulfill Defence’s operational output. You will be driving or operating on exercises, operational deployments, and on and off airfields all across the world, on both highways and severe terrain.

Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery and collection of stock between the warehouse and customers or stores.

Requirements

• Distribute stock in a safe and efficient manner to avoid inconsistencies and to meet client expectations on time.
• Ensure that every goods loaded is accounted for at the time of delivery to avoid overall inconsistencies.
• Verify that there is no departure from the delivery path set by the Transport Coordinator so that the most efficient overall route may be identified.
• To minimize discrepancies after collection, ensure precise cash collection from all retail shops.
• To guarantee that there are no anomalies in the collection, ensure that extra draw back is collected from retail establishments.
• Ensure that all deliveries (retail, wholesale, and key accounts) are done on time to avoid returns and provide total customer satisfaction.

Essentials

• Minimum 12th Standard passed.
• Knowledge of all UAE roads and locations.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar job
• Valid UAE driving license.
